Ingredients

  • Tomatoes: 3 medium, ripe, finely diced
  • Onion: 1/2 medium white or red onion, finely diced
  • Jalapeño: 1, finely diced (remove seeds for less heat)
  • Cilantro: 1/4 cup, finely chopped
  • Lime juice: Juice of 1 lime
  • Shan Chat Masala: 1 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Prepare the Vegetables: Finely dice the tomatoes, onion, and jalapeño. For less heat, be sure to remove the seeds and the white membrane from the jalapeño before dicing it.
  2. Combine: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, and the chopped cilantro.
  3. Season: Pour in the fresh lime juice and sprinkle with Shan Chat Masala Mix. Gently toss everything together until it is well combined.
  4. Serve: For the best flavor, let the pico de gallo sit for about 20 minutes in the refrigerator before serving. Enjoy it fresh with chips, tacos, or as a topping for your favorite dishes.
